You can now surf YouTube on your big screen thanks to the the YouTube app that has just launched today on Xbox 360 consoles, you can go grab it in the Apps Marketplace. Here we take a closer look.

The app will let you link your gamertag to your YouTube account, so you can access your Playlists, Favourites, Watch Laters, Subscriptions and much more in the ‘my YouTube’ section. The ‘Featured’ section allows to you watch the most popular, most liked, trends and more, and the Discover section allows you look through sections of videos from animation to comedy.

The app is also fully compatible with Kinect, meaning you can use both voice and movement to make your way around it.

Other apps added today are LOVEFiLM (UK), blinkbox (UK), muzu.tv and Msn. Coming this winter will be DailyMotion, 4OD (UK), Demand 5 (UK), Vevo, Crackle and Screenrush.
