iPad 3 to launch on Steve Jobs’ birthday, February 24th

FocusTaiwan is reporting that that Apple is pushing its manufacturing parters to meet deadlines that would see the launch of the iPad 3 on Steve Jobs’ birthday, February 24th.
According to the report, workers at several of the iPad 3 component suppliers as well as manufacturing partner Foxconn will have limited time during the Lunar New Year Holiday which falls on January 23rd 2012.
Other rumours have suggested the iPad 3 would land between March and April. Last year Apple launched new MacBook Pro models on Steve Jobs’ birthday.
