Acer brought its first Ultrabook in September 2011 and today the company is unveiling the Aspire Timeline Ultra which is 20mm thin and  features 8 hours of battery life. They also feature what Acer calls ‘Acer Green Instant On’ which allows for fast boot and resume, and Acer Always Connect technology, which will let users manage multimedia and data on all their devices anywhere, even in sleep (the device, not the user, don’t think we are at that stage just yet). The Timeline Ultra has the latest Intel Core i processor, dedicated graphics for 3D gaming, a slim DVD optical drive, SSD/HDD storage option, Dolby Home Theater V4 surround sound, HDMI and USB 3 ports. Acer says the Aspire Timeline Ultra will be shipping in Q1 of 2012

No images of the device has yet to be released but we will let you know when we manage to grab some.
