Microsoft Kinect for Windows now Available

At CES this year Steve Ballmer said that Microsoft would be shipping Kinect for Windows today, and it is right on time. Version 1.0 of the SDK and Runtime have been made available for download. 12 of Microsoft’s distribution partners in 12 launch counties are also starting to ship Kinect for Windows hardware. Suggested retail price is $249, and later this year they will be offering a special academic pricing of $149 for Qualified Educational Users. Hit the source link for more details.
