Microsoft Office coming to iPad soon

According to sources talking to the The Daily, Microsoft will soon submit Microsoft Office for iPad to Apple for approval. A quick hands-on with the prototype is said to revealed a number of things, including an interface similar to the OneNote app but with hints of Metro design language. Word, Excel and Powerpoint files can be created and edited locally and online, but the report says it is unclear if Microsoft will support other Office apps at launch or at all.

Sources also said that an Android version is not in the works, and an updated OneNote for iOS will also be released to conform with the Metro design.
