“Smoked by Windows Phone” campaign coming to TV

Microsoft is set to increase its advertising to build market share for Windows Phone as it enters new regions.
Speaking at Mobile World Congress, Aaron Woodman, the director of Windows Phone said: “The next year to 18 months is really about seeing a significant uptake in market share”
Microsoft partner Nokia has sold about 2.8 million Windows Phones in the fourth quarter for 1.9% market share in smartphones according to Gartner.
Over the next six months, Microsoft will be expanding its “Smoked by Windows Phone” campaign to TV spots. The campaign features users putting their handsets against each other to complete every day tasks the fastest.
