Microsoft has now opened registration for new buyers of qualified Windows 7 PC’s to get Windows 8 Pro for £14.99/$14.99. Consumers who purchase a Windows 7 PC between June 2nd 2012, and January 31st 2013 will be able to take advantage of the offer. They will have until February 28th 2013 to grab the upgrade. All you will need to register is your Windows 7 product key and Microsoft will send out promo codes beginning October 26th via email, which can they be applied on checkout on the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant.
