Amazon has just sent out invites for a press conference on September 6th at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The event is likely to see the launches of new Kindle models, including a successor to the Kindle Fire tablet.
Amazon usually holds its press conferences in NYC so I do wonder if this is something we haven’t seen from Amazon before. A Kindle Smartphone anyone?
