Rumors about Microsoft’s next-generation Surface have been going around the internet for a while, and with large price cuts to both the Surface and Surface Pro it seemed like new versions would be on the way. Now Microsoft has confirmed the news, sending out invites to the press for a Surface event on September 23 in New York City.
