Facebook has today announced a new standlone app for iPhone called Paper which is whole new Facebook app with a better look, basically a re-imagining with a fancy UI, cool gestures and Flipboard type news integration.
Paper makes your News Feed much more pleasing with a horizontal swiping, big images and themed sections. It also allows you to post updates but has an awesome WYSIWYG editor that you have used on some blogging platforms. Paper is also a news-reading app that can pull in content from various sources you’re interested in. You’ll be able to customise these with what you’re interested if, from topics such as tech and food.
Facebook Paper will be available for the iPhone in the US on February 3rd. No news yet when or if it will come to other countries and platforms.
