We all have shows we love or hate, and one I’ve really loved recently is Netflix original show ‘Orange Is The New Black’. It’s funny, intense and a refreshing series that stands out against the tons of shows coming out. On that note, Ladbrokes Games wanted to find out what us Brits think of America TV shows and here are some of the results.
Friends came out on top as the favourite American TV show, followed by Sex in the City in 2nd place, and How I Met Your Mother in 3rd. Worst remake of a British show? The Inbetweeners, not really a surprise considering how much the original version is loved.
In terms of style, Don Draper from Mad Men came out on top, while Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother came 2nd and Harvery Sepcter from Suits came 3rd. The favourite catch phrase was “How you doin?” by Joey from Friends with 17.60% of the total vote.
Moving to the real world side of things, when asked which character would your ideal America best friend be, most people said Chandler Bing from Friends, while which home would you choose to live in was also Chandler and Joey’s apartment. Us Brits really like Friends don’t we?
