Xbox One to get Twitch streaming on March 11th

By Stephen Robinson @xstex · On 25 February, 2014

Since it’s launch many people have wanted to be able to stream gaming footage from Xbox One to Twitch, and soon that will become a reality. On March 11th an updated Twitch app will launch which will enable broadcasting. You’ll be able to launch streaming by simply saying “Xbox, Broadcast.” thanks to Kinect. You’ll also be able to have picture-in-picture mode and live audio commentary over your feed. Once finished you’ll have the option to archive your broadcast to your broadcast library.

The update will also allow you to set up notifications for when one of your Favourites begin broadcasting, plus you’ll have the option to join a broadcaster’s party.
