5 PC exclusive games you need to play

Thanks to Steam, PC gaming has only gotten bigger over the years, and with sites like FiercePC selling affordable gaming machines, more people can enjoy the exclusive games PC has to offer. So what are some recent and upcoming exclusives to PC that you should check out? Here’s a list!

Eden Star

Eden Star is a first-person, survival-creator game. If you love Minecraft but want something a bit different this may be for you. It features unique physics-based combat, freeform construction, destructible environments, free-running navigation and much more.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and private servers. It will also have a single player and drop-in co-op multiplayer campaign called Squadron 42. It’ll also support Oculus Rift.

Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is an upcoming stand alone expansion pack to the military science-fiction real-time strategy game StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, and the third part of the StarCraft II trilogy developed. This may not be out either, but considering how well received Wings of Liberty was, it’ll be worth checking out.

Tropico 5

Tropico 5 is the fifth installment in the series of constuction and management simulation games by Haemimont Games. What’s new? Well Tropico 5 features cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to four players. Players can build cities on the same island, allowing them to work together or against each other.

Heroes of the Storm

Due out in March, Heroes of the Storm is an online battle arena video game developed by Blizzard. It will be free-to-play and supported by micro-payments. The game revolves around online 5 versus 5 matches. Players choose one of three game modes and play against others or AI.
