In the latest video from Huawei which you can watch below, the company surprises some of the public with their latest smartphone, the Ascend Mate 7.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a display that comes in at 6 inches with a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, this gives the Ascend Mate 7 a larger display than the iPhone 6 Plus while maintaining the same size device. This is achieved by making the bezel just 2.9mm thick.

The quality of this device is a big jump for Huawei, it’s has a unibody made from aluminium and boasts a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, plus a microSD port that can also be used as a secondary SIM slot for dual-SIM functionality. The smartphone features an octacore Kirin 925 processor, made up of a quad-core 1.7GHz Cortex A15 chip and a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex A7. You’ll get 2GB of RAM with the 16GB storage model, and 3GB RAM with the 32GB storage model.

The bottom of the device features a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the bottom features a microUSB charging port. On the left side is where you’ll find the nano SIM and microSD slots.
